Jitka Navrátilová

Academic sculptor Jitka Navrátilová was born on September 19, 1976 in Jablonec nad Nisou in the Czech Republic.
After graduating from the high school of applied arts, where she studied glass melting and shaping, she entered the Academy of Fine Arts of Architecture & Design in Prague in a sculpture studio under the guidance of a prominent Czech sculptor, Professor Kurt Gebauer. As part of her studies, she did an internship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence in the fresco studio of professor Gustavo Giulietti, and in Florence she also won the first prize at the student competition of the Romualdo del Bianco Foundation.

Since 1998, he has been continuously exhibiting in the Czech Republic and abroad. He is engaged in painting, photography, making sculptures and spatial objects. In his practice, he also participates in the implementation of revitalization projects and restoration of historical monuments, including public spaces. She participated in numerous international sculpture symposia, and at one of them in 2016, she achieved a valuable collaboration with the Slovenian artist Marko Pogačnik.

She lives and creates as a freelance artist in the Czech Republic and Dalmatia.
